1 Samuel 16:23
Tell me what you're carrying today. Every song is paired with Scripture — a word for the weight.
Music as a Balm
When a tormenting spirit came upon Saul, David took his harp and played — and Saul found relief. These songs are offered in that same spirit: a lyre for the weary, with Scripture as the healing word beneath every melody.

Our Purpose
"And whenever the harmful spirit from God was upon Saul, David took the lyre and played it with his hand. So Saul was refreshed and was well, and the harmful spirit departed from him."
Long before David was king, he was a shepherd with a harp — a musician summoned to Saul's court because his songs carried something the palace couldn't manufacture. When a tormenting spirit pressed in on Saul, David played, and heaven pushed back the dark. The weight lifted. The room could breathe again.
That's the heartbeat of Dirt Road Gospel Music. Every song we write is aimed at a burden someone is carrying — worry, fear, grief, guilt, loneliness, weariness — and paired with the Word of God, because Scripture is what actually sets a soul free. The music is the lyre. Jesus is the healer.
So tell us what you're carrying. Somewhere in these songs there's one written for the road you're on — and a verse to walk you home.

About
Dirt Road Gospel is a small music project rooted in country hymns, worn Bibles, and the kind of Sundays you remember by smell.
Every track starts as a lyric scratched down on the porch and finds its way into the world through Suno — mixed, listened to, and shared here for anyone who needs the sound of home.
